Tremendous improvement in strength, flexibility and stamina

as demonstrated by regular movement screen tests conducted by Ricky Singh. My improved conditioning has provided the ability to manage a heavy physical and mental workload. The on-going support by the trainers make the workouts a positive experience. I have always been impressed by the training programs developed for me every 4 weeks. They provide variety in the exercise regimen but remained focused on helping me achieve full body conditioning. I am 74 years old and the improvements in my physical well-being have been dramatic. I can see that friends in my age group are losing physical capabilities and would benefit from this type of training.

I was seeking a place to help me begin moving again in a safe setting

as I have a herniated disc in my back, which has caused significant long-term issues. I now train 5 times a week and can do things pain-free that I have not done in years. I am mentally stronger and energized. I am regaining my confidence. I have my life back.

"A personal best in marathon [running] but also stayed in shape during pregnancy.  Staying in shape helped me during pregnancy but also to give birth and to recover.

After training 3 times per week last Summer going into my final year of varsity soccer, I achieved the best fitness testing results at training camp out of all four years on the team.

I went from not being able to do a chin up to doing 7, and I got the fastest 10m sprint time on my team! I also had the second best score in the cardiovascular endurance test my team ran.

I ended up being an OUA Allstar in my final year, which was a huge goal of mine. I attribute a huge part of my success in my final year of soccer to the PEAKS Team who got me in tip top condition for season! Overall, I am motivated and excited to go to the gym and work with the PEAKS team which allows me to lead a healthy and active lifestyle!

Since day one I have felt a part of the PEAKS family and knew that the Team had my best interests and goals in mind. They are so supportive and take your goals and what you want to accomplish into account when forming your personalized workout plan.

I would recommend anyone to PEAKS as the personalized workout plans can be tailored to anyone’s goals and fitness levels. It is an amazing environment to work out and the trainers’ support allows you to reach your goals and surpass them!

Since joining PEAKS, I have improved my strength and conditioning which opened several opportunities for me.

I earned a scholarship to Northeastern University starting in the Fall, played for Team Ontario Blue at the 2017 U18 Women’s National Hockey Championship (silver medalists), played for Team a Ontario Red at the Canada Winter Games (4th), and played for U18 Team Canada at the IIHF World Women’s u18 championship (world champions!). I played in the PWHL for three years with the Stoney Creek Junior Sabres and won an OWHA Provincial silver and bronze medal along with a PWHL Final Four Championship silver medal. All of this was possible because of the PEAKS Community pushing me to be the best I can on and off the ice!
 

Overall, these achievements have given me a sense that all of the hard work I put in at PEAKS and on the ice is starting to pay off. I am very proud of these accomplishments and want to keep pushing myself to reach the next level.
 

I love the environment when working out at PEAKS. I always see a friendly face/someone I know every time I come in. The staff at PEAKS are amazing and always put their clients first. In terms of working out, I enjoy the workout variations and seeing progress over time.

Overall, I have loved working out at PEAKS over the last few years. I have met and reconnected with so many great people, and have been shown great support through all of my endeavours. PEAKS has taught me the importance of living a balanced life, especially as a student athlete, making sure I am not only working hard in the gym, but managing nutrition, sleep, and general wellbeing too.

"Our family has been working with the PEAKS Team since early days. Their four PEAKS approach to success allowed both our children to develop and excel to university level sports representing a mere 5% of high school athletes. The PEAKS Team will provide you the framework to realize your goals and dreams. Having watched the success of my children it was time for me to get in line. With the encouragement of my family I joined PEAKS 3 years ago and haven’t looked back. A former runner, I had hung up the running shoes and was battling to get back into a routine and good physical and mental health. I have never considered myself out of shape or overweight, but I quickly realized the importance of developing a healthy lifestyle. PEAKS helped me set achievable goals including healthy living habits. It's not all about what you eat which is the foundation of the 4 PEAKS. Three years later I am more committed to my new lifestyle than ever. It is infectious, and I enjoy spreading the PEAKS infection. Now 53 years old I am in the best shape I’ve been since high school and wondering why I didn’t do this sooner. Besides exceeding my main goal of reducing body fat (Under 12% from nearly 30%) I crave my early morning routine at PEAKS as it sets me up both physically and mentally for the day ahead. If you are reading this do yourself a favour, take the first step and join the PEAKS Lifestyle! It's life changing!
